The University British Columbia Alma Mater Society (UBC AMS) is one of the largest campus student unions in Canada. It has existed for over a hundred years. It is the wealthiest campus-level student union in Canada and one of the wealthiest in the world, largely because it owns its own building. The UBC AMS excels in services provision and support for clubs, making it a capable student union that its counterparts on other campuses can learn from.
