Overview

In recent years, the University of Regina Students' Union (URSU) has been embroiled in a series of scandals, leading the University of Regina to terminate the fee collection agreement with URSU on 31 August 2025 and evict URSU from its office and commercial spaces on campus. This followed several years of financial deficits posted by the URSU, starting in 2022. These financial and legal challenges have lead to the collapse of the URSU. Although the University of Regina is not part of the U15 network, this profile was written as an aide-mémoire to the leaders of the union that will replace the URSU, in the hope that they can avoid the mistakes of their predecessors
